CBS Register: Cast. Terracotta figurine, fragment. a male figure, seated, lion on left side.

PBS XVI: Heracles with the lion's skin over his left arm. The strap of his sword thrown across his powerful body sets off its beautiful modelling. He probably carries a weapon in his right hand. The mighty lion killer is a new Gilgamesh. molded. Cast of an original in Constantinople.
