Description | Low spreading foot, body continuous in profile from foot to lip, lop with everted profile, two thickened strap handles neck to shoulder. Glazed around edge of foot. 3 glaze bands around body below level of lower handle attachment. Upper neck, lip and outer surface of handles glazed. Hard pinkish buff clay. Wheel made. Intact. K DeVries states that he and Kenneth Sams think this kind of pottery may be western Anatolian. |
