Description

Incised piece of ivory, originally circular; bears guilloche on one edge with semi-circular piercing; also bears design of the rear end of an animal.

Muscarella Publication: "A small, thin fragment, badly burnt, preserving part of an incised kneeling animal placed below a guilloche band, right; a dowel hole is below the stomach. This is a fragment from a third object exactly like nos. 281 and 282."
