Description | Black bowl with two small animal (mice?) figures as handles, round bottom, incurved rim Cooking pot (olla) with a squat-globular body, no neck/collar, flanged rim, 2 effigy-zoomorphic handles on the body, and a rounded base. The two handles are shaped like small rodents. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in a reducing atmosphere as the surface is black and the interior is gray in color. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2848." |
