Description

Sommerville: Chalcedony Onyx. A very curious ring. Gold Rings - Cameos, Case RRR.

Vermeule: Chalcedony-sardonyx. Cameo & Intaglio. (Modern gold ring setting) Figure of a saint (John?) carrying crucifix and a palm. Five stars form a halo above head. Reverse: In Intaglio crowned coat of arms, letters AB in design.
