Description | Pear-shaped body, narrow cylindrical neck, two loop handles shoulder to neck, plain red jar with white stripes Narrow-necked jar/bottle with an ovate body, cylindrical neck, rounded rim, 2 cord (round cross-section) handles extending from the neck to the body, and a flat base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel has a red slip and lines painted in white down the body and around the handles. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base.
