Description

Small bench of dark slightly reddish wood. Carved from a single piece. Whole shaped like human-headed animal. Seat shaped like elipse cut in half crosswise. Three legs. Back leg is "tail", long tapering outward, oval cross-section, carved tip. Front legs start as breast of animal and separate into two legs, round in section. Head "handle" has long neck, human face with bulging oval eyes, large nose, small mouth and ears. Crest along top of head with 9 brass studs along top of it.
