Description

Drum (talinting) with wood body and deer skin head. Two plaited peel bands, one holding wooden pegs at top, the other around the bottom. Plaited fiber cord for suspension. Middle size in set of three drums played in ensemble with bamboo rattles (angklung) (see 87-1-1 A-F).
